The school year is starting to ramp up, and the Traveling Natural History Program is gearing up to meet thousands of excited students!
To kick off our fall season, we will be attending a wonderful event in Framingham, Massachusetts called “Outreach Live New England” or “OLNE”. OLNE brings a multitude of Outreach programs from all over New England to a school for a day filled with fun and education revolving around topics of science and natural history. This year’s event will feature presentations from the New England Aquarium, the Boston Museum of Science, Chewonki and many more. It is a wonderful opportunity for everyone involved: instructors are able to meet and observe other talented educators in the field, and the students are able to enjoy a plethora of excellent programming!
We are excited to be presenting our very own Tide Pools lesson, complete with a number of live animals from Maine’s rocky shores for the students to learn about and interact with!
